Dual-interval Star-Delta Starter

It is used in automation arrays to start three-phase asynchronous motors. It provides the contacts for directly arming star, delta and main relays.

It is used in automation arrays to start three-phase asynchronous motors. It provides the contacts for directly arming star, delta and main relays. In addition, it provides the contacts for direct connection of the start and stop buttons as well as the automatic switch, thus replacing all electrical start automation. It works like a regular delay timer (3-30 sec) to switch from star to triangle after receiving a command from either the buttons or the auto mode switch. It also inserts an interval of 20-300 ms (Transition time), between star and delta operation. This avoids the magnetic coupling of the Power Relays during switching and ensures their non-simultaneous arming.
